Eid is a festival like Christmas. we wear new clothes, we go to mosque, cook sweet dishes like vermecellies, sweet rice and many other delicious food. Girls and women all apply mehendi on palms. We make beautiful patterns with mehendi and wear colorful bangles. We share Eidi with eachother. Our elders give us Eidi as a Eid gift. It is our religious festival. All of us keep fast for a month between sun rise to sunset for a month and then we celebrate Eid.

There are 2 types of eid 1 eid-ul-fiter and the second eid-ul-azha. We celebrate eid-ul fiter after fasting for 30 days.It's a gift from god to us. On Eid-ul-fiter we go to are relatives house and enjoy are eid. Eid-ul-azha is also an event celebrated by Muslims . on this eid we sacrifice goats,cows,camels, sheep and etc in the memorance of hazrat Ibrahim.
